What to expect?

The package includes entry to The View from the Shard for two people, to the very best viewing platform, 800ft above the ground. And, after those breath-taking views you can dine in style at Marco Pierre Whites Steak and Ale House, enjoying a delicious three course meal and cocktail, all included in the price.

What happens on the day?

On entering The Shard, you will be taken through a security check before ascending the building in one of its two high-speed ‘kaleidoscopic’ elevators. At Level 69 you will be invited to take in the stunning 360 degree views over the city along with multimedia displays that will bring to life the city of London from the past, present and future.

After which, you will continue your ascent to Level 72, the highest public viewing platform in the building itself and 800ft from the ground. Enjoy the sights and sounds of London far above the hustle and bustle of the streets below and gaze across an unobstructed view of London and all of its incredible and historic landmarks.

Once your feet are firmly back on the ground, you can enjoy a three course lunch or dinner at the award winning, Marco Pierre White’s Steak and Ale House, choosing from the set menu that offers three options per course. A complimentary cocktail will be included in the price of your experience day and this restaurants sumptuous choice of steaks, roast meats, fish and desserts is sure to offer something for everyone.

Side orders and coffees will be available for a further charge and a discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill.


Is there a minimum age requirement?

The minimum age restriction for The View from the Shard is 16, however, to enjoy a cocktail with your meal afterwards, you must be 18 or over. Persons under the age of 18 will be offered a non-alcoholic alternative.

How long does the experience last?

There is no time restriction on The View from the Shard, you can enjoy this experience at your leisure, however you should allow at least one hour for your visit. It is recommended that you allow two hours for your restaurant booking, although again, there is no time restriction in place.

When is this experience available?

The View from the Shard is available seven days a week, however allocated time slots are to be booked in advance to avoid queues.

Your entrance will only be valid on the specific date and time of your booking with Acorne Plc. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, so it is recommended that you check all bookings and times in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.

The Acorne Voucher will have a voucher number and pin number which will need to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket which will be sent as confirmation of your booking and will include the six digit confirmation number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.

The lunchtime reservation at Marco Pierre White’s Steak and Ale House is available between 12.00 and 15.00, and dinner between 17.30 and 22.00. Friday and Saturday bookings need to be made at least 48 hours in advance and bookings are strictly subject to availability.
